# Unified Compliance Engine

BTOS includes a unified compliance engine designed for controlled and permissioned product environments. Issuers can define **access rules, investor eligibility, transfer permissions, and lifecycle controls** based on the requirements of each product.

The compliance engine helps issuers manage who can **access, hold, transfer, subscribe, or redeem** tokenised products across the product lifecycle.
